DBCC is participating in #GivingTuesday !

DBCC is jumping on a new tradition called #GivingTuesday! #Giving Tuesday inspires personal philanthropy and encourages bigger, better and smarter charitable giving during the holiday season. The second annual #GivingTuesday will take place on December 3, 2013 – the day of our next Board Meeting!

All money raised benefits the Delaware community by supporting essential breast health education, outreach, screenings, and services.

Last Week at DBCC in Photos – 11/11

On Wednesday Nov. 13, 2013, 20 breast cancer advocates from across the country met in Washington, DC to deliver petitions to the President of the United States, asking him to commit to work with the National Breast Cancer Coalition to know how to end breast cancer by January 1, 2020. DBCC’s very own, Chadeia Mitchell, attended the conference.

Heather’s Home Works is a member of “Cleaning for a Reason”. They are presently cleaning the home of a DBCC Mentee going through chemotherapy. The cleaning costs the mentee nothing, and they will clean her house once a month for 4 months

Our 15th Annual Northern Lights of Life event at Otto’s BMW on October 19th was a treat for all attendees! The party atmosphere, delicious  food samples, flowing drinks and exciting entertainment kept everyone on their feet the entire night.
